About My Music

I have always loved my own musical recordings far more than anyone else has. I play for fun, which means that when I'm in the mood, I tend to forget about things like whether instruments are in tune, or whether they're keeping in time to a steady rhythm, or whether my singing is on key. In fact, I've been told to my face a few times that I'm a terrible singer and a bad drummer. Somehow, that never stopped me.

So, as I build up this website's collection of mp3s from my various albums and experiments, I have to caution listeners to beware. You may, in fact, hate what you hear. But I don't. I hear an emotional honesty and a free spirit that doesn't come out of me any other way, and I love relistening to all of this material. Oh sure, maybe even I wince now and then, but I love my music.
